Intelli-Foam^TM Specification

• True temperature sensitive visco-elastic foam.
• Open celled and breathable for efficient moisture vapour transmission.
• Sanitised to prevent and inhibit bacterial growth.
• Fire Retardancy: Foam is inherently fire retardant i.e. No fire blockers or cotton surrounds used to achieve BS 7177/5852 - Ignition Source 5.
• Fast acting foam to prevent shear damage when moving or repositioning patients

Base Weave: Polyester or Nylon knit.

Cover coating: MultiStretch Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Hydrophilic (Rapid vapour permeability). Totally impervious to fluids(waterproof). Mechanically and clinically tested and approved. Cover designed and constructed to withstand everyday ward life and hospital laundering.

Other Standards: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Centexebel, Belgium). No harmful substances.No antimons. Antistatic (optional) - DIN 53482 Antibacterial -SN195920/Antimycotic -SN 195121.
